When people look at Diaconia, they often see a young, fast-growing small business—one that has crossed the 100-employee mark in just over three years. But what they may not see at first glance is the depth of experience, trust, and technical rigor that sits beneath the surface of our growth.
As we continue building toward 2026, we’re expanding our leadership bench with purpose. Today, we’re proud to highlight the strategic addition of three new Vice Presidents. These are leaders who bring both deep industry experience and strong working relationships forged over years of collaborating at a top consulting firm.
- Agility over bureaucracy
- Healthy teams over churn and burnout
- People-first leadership over rigid hierarchy
- Mission impact over maintenance mode
Together, they represent the kind of talent that chooses a small business not because it’s the next rung on the ladder, but because it’s the next frontier for innovation.
Our team’s strong roots fuel our agility
Across Diaconia’s executive and director-level team, our 14 leaders have decades of combined experience spanning GovTech, public sector consulting, cybersecurity, financial services, enterprise IT, digital modernization, and mission support.
As individuals, their backgrounds come from some of the most respected organizations in the industry, and what binds them together now is a shared desire to build something better, using the advantages of a small business environment.
That’s the story of our three newest VPs.
They spent years working together in a large-scale consulting ecosystem, where they built trust, refined their craft, and learned to deliver at enterprise scale. Those shared roots are real and meaningful.
But they’ve chosen to plant those roots in new soil.
At Diaconia, they have the space to:
- Move quickly
- Innovate freely
- Build strong, empowered teams
- Shape modern, mission-ready solutions without layers slowing them down
- Lead with purpose in an environment intentionally designed to stay people-centered
Indeed, their move isn’t about looking back. It’s about looking ahead—to the next big mission, the next breakthrough, the next opportunity to serve.
A Conversation with our new Vice Presidents
In order to introduce them properly, we sat down with all three leaders for a candid conversation about:
- Their shared foundation working together in a large consulting firm
- Why they chose a small business at this moment in their careers
- What “agility in 2026” truly means
- How they think about team health, mission impact, and building a company that is Wired Beyond the Edge™
You’ll hear them talk about leadership philosophies, lessons learned, how they build high-trust teams, and what excites them about the next phase of Diaconia’s growth. This spotlight isn’t about where they came from. It’s about who they are now—and what they’re here to build.
The Strength of a Modern, Mission-Ready Team
At this juncture, the Diaconia leadership team is comprised of 8 Executives, and 6 Senior Directors. Given their combined portfolio that spans nearly every corner of federal technology and mission support, this team is masterfully crafted. Together, they bring decades of experience, and also a shared belief that a healthy organizational culture is not just a value—it’s a strategic advantage.
We are small. We are agile.
And we are powered by leaders who know how to operate at enterprise scale while building human-centered teamsthat can move faster than the mission demands.
